  1. On Friday night, November 17, l995, the National UFO Reporting Center in 
  2. Seattle received multiple calls from numerous individuals on the East 
  3. Coast who were witness to an extraordinarily unusual event, which was 
  4. observed over an area stretching from Maine to North Carolina. 
  5.  
  6. The first call received was from a small town in eastern Pennsylvania, 
  7. where a young woman reported witnessing a gigantic object, seemingly 
  8. covered with many peculiar lights, which hovered over a nearby field for 
  9. several minutes. She first noticed the object at about 2223 hrs. local 
  10. time. 
  11.  
  12. The next call was from a FAA facility in New England, which relayed two
  13. pilot reports from airline crews who saw an object, extremely bright with 
  14. a luminous tail stretching far behind it, streak by, headed approximately
  15. southwest, and approximately 2000 feet below their altitude at 
  16. approximately 2220 hrs..

  18. Multiple other reports followed in rapid sequence from Maine, 
  19. Massachusetts, Connecticut, and North Carolina.  One call was received 
  20. Saturday morning from a young man, who reported seeing not one, but two 
  21. streaks of light pass near his location in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, and 
  22. about 2220 hrs.

  24. Also, a call was received from Seymour Johnson AFB, near Greensboro, NC,
  25. which had taken one or more calls from individuals, who called to report
  26. observing a very large object hovering motionless in the sky, then 
  27. beginning to move both vertically and horizontally.  Names and numbers 
  28. for the individuals who had called Seymour Johnson AFB called were not 
  29. available.
